The post where it all began
I am a happily married mum of five children with big dreams. Owning my own home type of dreams. Let's face it in 2021 with out some sort of lottery win or large inheritance I'm not going to get one. My husband works full time in a retail store, our bills are always paid on time and we have no debts. We would not be elligable for a mortgage and I'm pretty sure if we wouldn't be offered any amount significant enough to buy a property. Long story short, it's a dead. "People like us don't own homes anymore, Sarah" said my friend yesterday on our usual afternoon school run. But is that really true? I've always thought with hard work and perseverance anyone could achieve anything. So this is my attempt at just that. I am starting a small business with a start up cost of £1. I am going to work hard to try and turn my £1 into £2 and then £5 and £10 and so on and so forth until I can finally achieve my dream of buying my own home. It might not work
